WISCONSIN TROOPERS BENEVOLENT FOUNDATION

The Wisconsin Troopers Benevolent Foundation was established to encourage and support community outreach by members of the Wisconsin State Patrol.  Given that our agency is spread throughout the state, it is challenging for us as an agency be involved at a community level.  This program encourages troopers in their off time to join and support community programs.

Benevolent Fund

The Benevolent Fund provides flowers or memorial donations in memory of the passing of immediate family members of current Wisconsin State Patrol officers and retirees.  The death of a loved one is difficult and the Wisconsin State Patrol family supports its own through this important program.

Fallen Heroes Fund

The Fallen Heroes Fund was established in 2008, supporting the survivors of officers killed in the line of duty.  The Fallen Heroes Fund handles expenses related to law enforcement funerals, hosting guests and visiting dignitaries, and memorial tributes.  The Fallen Heroes Fund covers costs associated with sending survivors to the National Police Week where their loved one is honored for their sacrifice.

Memorial Scholarship Program

The Wisconsin Trooper’s Benevolent Foundation is proud to have nine (9) $1,000 scholarships in honor of the troopers that have been killed in the line of duty throughout the history of the Wisconsin State Patrol.  By establishing these scholarships, we honor our fallen comrades and assist the individuals who are awarded these scholarships with completing their post-secondary education and serving the citizens of our great state.
